Marmande, June 3, 2026 – Nexteam continues its development with the strengthening of its capital by its long-standing partners and the entry of a minority consortium led by EMZ Partners, Bpifrance, and Amundi.

Nexteam, a leading industrial player in the Aerospace and Defense sectors, announces that it has finalized the reorganization of its capital structure.

Nexteam’s management, represented by Ludovic Asquini, its Chairman, and Christophe Maury, its CEO, is increasing its stake and retaining a majority of voting rights thanks to a core group of long-standing investors, the “Friends of Nexteam,” composed of family and institutional investors. It is backed by a consortium of leading French investors, led by EMZ Partners, Bpifrance, and Amundi Private Equity Funds (“Amundi PEF”), demonstrating its confidence in the Group’s inorganic growth potential.

Nexteam, an industrial champion for Aerospace and Defense

Founded in 2013, Nexteam has established itself as a key manufacturer of critical components for the Aerospace and Defense sectors, having successfully consolidated and integrated several family-owned companies.

The Group has developed cutting-edge expertise, particularly in three main production processes: machining, casting, and sheet metal fabrication. Its mastery of highly complex parts and its industrial capabilities make it a critical player in the supply chain for major contractors, including Safran, Airbus, and Ariane Group, on their most strategic programs.

Nexteam currently employs more than 2,700 people across 21 sites in 7 countries, in Europe, North Africa, and India.

A New Stage in the Group’s Development

Following a competitive process conducted by CACIB and Indosuez Corporate Finance, Ludovic Asquini and Christophe Maury have selected EMZ Partners, Bpifrance, and Amundi PEF as preferred financial partners to support the Group’s next phase of growth.

On this occasion, Nexteam’s management has expanded its base of existing partners with the addition of new investors, the “Friends of Nexteam,” complementing the existing circle of family and institutional shareholders.

Ludovic Asquini, Chairman of Nexteam, stated: “We are very pleased to partner with EMZ, Bpifrance, and Amundi while maintaining the confidence of our existing partners, who are part of the ‘Friends of Nexteam’ network.” This new majority shareholder structure is fully aligned with the ambition of our Fly Your Success strategic plan. Over the years, Nexteam has built a recognized position as a strategic partner in highly complex segments. In a market environment that remains positive, driven by record order books, this transaction gives us the means to confidently accelerate our development.”

Christophe Maury, CEO of Nexteam, adds: “This transaction demonstrates the strength of the industrial model we have built. With EMZ and our new financial partners, we have the resources and ambition necessary to take the next step in our development, both through organic growth and targeted acquisitions.”

Charles Mercier and Pierre-François Gueit, Partners at EMZ Partners, state: “Nexteam has established itself as an essential strategic partner in the global aerospace supply chain, backed by cutting-edge industrial facilities, technical expertise, and operational excellence recognized by its peers.” These strengths position the group as a natural consolidator in a rapidly evolving sector. We are very enthusiastic about supporting Ludovic, Christophe, and their teams in this new phase of development.”

Samuel Dalens, Deputy Director in Bpifrance’s Large Cap investment team, emphasizes: “Bpifrance has supported Nexteam since 2018, and we have been impressed by its teams’ ability to overcome the challenges faced by the aerospace industry. Today, Nexteam embodies French industrial excellence and plays a key role in the sovereignty of our defense sector. We are proud to strengthen our partnership with Ludovic and Christophe to support a new cycle of growth, while leveraging our Bpifrance Defense fund.”

Christophe Somaïni, Partner at Amundi PEF, concludes, “Supporting Nexteam and its management team is fully aligned with Amundi PEF’s strategy of supporting sovereign industrial groups operating in strategic sectors. This transaction reflects our belief in the ability of leading players like Nexteam to combine industrial excellence, innovation, and sustainable value creation.”

Solid fundamentals in high-growth markets

Nexteam operates in a particularly favorable market environment. Record order books from major aerospace contractors, driven by sustained civil demand and increasing defense budgets in Europe, provide the Group with long-term visibility and a solid foundation to accelerate its development.

With this new round of financing, Nexteam intends to accelerate its organic growth while pursuing a targeted external growth strategy, in order to consolidate its leadership in its core markets and expand its industrial footprint internationally.
